Grupo Arrate is a corporate group dedicated to the renewable energy sector.
Founded in 2011, it has grown to the present day, multiplying its business lines, portfolios and partners to become a Corporate Group that covers the entire value chain of the sector.
Our History
Foundation of Arrate Energías.
Founding of the company with project development as its core activity.
2011European market operations
Creation of the Arrate Group incorporating the companies Arrate Energies, Southland (co-developments with one of the main energy companies in Spain) and Arrate Biogás (biogas plants).
2018Foundation of Aratel
Creation of Aratel (development of projects from Greenfield to RtB) in partnership with industrial multinational.
2021Start of construction activity
Launch of business line in the execution of photovoltaic projects.
2022The Arrate Group specialises in the development of projects from Greenfield to COD.
Today we have a project portfolio of 6 GW of energy under development in Spain, in addition to 500 MW under execution and several portfolios under strategic advice.

We have offices in Madrid, Albacete, León, Cáceres y Santiago de Compostela.

Quality Management – ISO 9001
The ISO 9001 standard that Grupo Arrate mantains is the most widely recognised quality management standard in the world. This certification demonstrates that the Group has strong corporate governance, motivating and increasing the level of staff engagement through more efficient internal processes.
Environmental Management System Certificate – ISO 14001
This standard is internationally standardised proof that Grupo Arrate is firmly committed to the environment. With this certificate we demonstrate our commitment to sustainable management, incorporating the important environmental issues into management and organisation throughout the chain of command, from management to employees.
Health and Safety Certificate – ISO 45001
ISO 45001 is the first and most demanding international standard dealing with occupational health and safety. Ensures a safe and healthy place for all employees of the organisation. This quality policy is intrinsically linked to the importance of people for the Arrate Group.
