The Arrate Group joins AEPIBAL, a leading association in energy storage.

The Arrate Group joins AEPIBAL, the Spanish battery business association that defends the interests of the storage industry in Spain, as a sponsoring company. With more than 120 members covering the entire value chain, AEPIBAL is the main interlocutor of the energy storage sector before the Public Administration (Ministries and IDAE) and other organizations (REE, CNMC, OMIE). AEPIBAL has the main centers of knowledge and technological research in the country, as well as producers, installers, engineering companies, manufacturers, distributors and in general any company related to the sector.

With a project portfolio of more than 6 GW, the Arrate Group considers storage as one of the key pieces in the development of projects.. In addition to wind, photovoltaic and biomethane projects, the Group is developing hybrid farms with storage. With this adhesion, the company seeks to collaborate in the strengthening of the storage sector in Spain and its consolidation as one of the main factors in the Energy Transition.

The Arrate Group has already had the opportunity to participate in several of the Association’s Working Groups and is incorporated as a full partner in the activities and work of AEPIBAL.
